Patient Chat lets you have AI conversations with a specific patient's clinical context loaded, without needing to record a consultation first.
When to Use Patient Chat
- Between consultations — Review a patient's plan or generate documentation without a new recording
- Care plan updates — Ask the AI to create or revise a care plan based on existing data
- Meal plan generation — Create a meal plan using the patient's profile and health records
- Clinical questions — Ask the AI about the patient's history, medications, or treatment options
Starting a Patient Chat
- Navigate to the patient's detail page
- Click Start Chat (or the AI chat button)
- The chat opens with the patient's context pre-loaded
The AI knows the patient's:
- Health records and demographics
- Past consultations and transcripts
- Existing care plans and meal plans
- Clinical notes
What You Can Ask
- "Create a meal plan for this patient's current goals"
- "Generate a care plan update based on their last consultation"
- "What medications is this patient currently taking?"
- "Draft a follow-up note for our last session"
Generated Artifacts
Any documents generated during a patient chat (care plans, meal plans, clinical notes) are saved to the patient's record, just like artifacts from a consultation.
