Create a Patient

Add a new patient to your practice in Meelio.

You can add patients to Meelio manually or import them through an EHR integration.

Adding a Patient Manually

  1. Go to the Patients page
  2. Click Add Patient
  3. Fill in the patient information:
    • First Name (required)
    • Last Name (required)
    • Email (optional)
    • Date of Birth (optional)
    • Gender (optional)
    • Phone (optional)
  4. Click Save to create the patient record

Importing from EHR

If you've connected an EHR system (Cerbo or Practice Better), patients are synced automatically. See Connect Your EHR for setup.

Linking During a Consultation

You can also create patients on the fly during or after a consultation:

  1. During recording, click Link to Patient on the recording bar
  2. In the patient picker, click Create New Patient
  3. Enter the patient's information and save

The consultation will be automatically linked to the new patient.
