Templates Overview
What templates are and how they control AI-generated documentation in Meelio.
Templates define the structure, format, and content guidelines for the documents Meelio's AI generates. When you ask the AI to create a clinical note, care plan, or meal plan, it follows the active template for that document type.
How Templates Work
Each template includes:
- Name — A descriptive title
- Type — Clinical Note, Care Plan, or Meal Plan
- Description — What this template is for
- Schema/Structure — The sections and format of the generated document
- LLM Prompt — Instructions for the AI on how to generate the document
When you ask the AI to generate an artifact, it uses the default template for that type (or the template you specify).
