Common Errors
Solutions for common error messages in the Meelio Desktop App.
"Failed to Load Session"
When: Opening a past consultation on the Processing page.
Cause: The consultation data couldn't be retrieved from the server.
Fix:
- Click Try Again to retry loading
- If it persists, check your internet connection
- Click Return to Dashboard and try again later
"Transcription is still in progress"
When: Viewing the Processing page after stopping a recording.
Cause: The audio is still being transcribed on the server.
Fix: Wait for the transcription to complete. This usually takes a few minutes for Enhanced (Batch) mode. The page will update automatically.
"No transcript captured — recording discarded"
When: After stopping a recording.
Cause: The recording was canceled or no audio was captured.
Fix:
- Ensure your microphone is working and has the required permissions
- Check that Meelio has both Microphone and Screen Recording permissions
- Try starting a new consultation
"Something went wrong during transcription"
When: After stopping a recording.
Cause: The transcription service encountered an error.
Fix:
- Check your internet connection
- Try recording a new consultation
- If the issue persists, contact support
Backend Unavailable
When: Various actions fail or the app shows a connection error page.
Cause: Meelio's servers are temporarily unreachable.
Fix:
- Check your internet connection
- Wait a few minutes and try again
- If the issue persists for more than 15 minutes, check the Meelio status page or contact support
"Invalid invitation or credentials"
When: Entering an invite code during onboarding.
Cause: The invite code is incorrect, expired, or doesn't match your email.
Fix:
- Double-check the invite code from your invitation email
- Ensure you're using the same email address the invitation was sent to
- Ask your organization admin to resend the invitation
"Failed to create organization"
When: Creating an organization during onboarding.
Cause: Server error or network issue.
Fix:
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure all required fields are filled in (organization name, country, first name, last name)
- Try again after a moment
