Account Settings

Access from Settings → Account to configure your personal profile, credentials, clinical specialty, and application behavior.

User Profile

• First Name & Last Name — Your display name used across the application and on generated documents
• Email — Your account email address (used for sign-in)

Clinical Specialty

Your selected specialty calibrates Meelio's AI models, ensuring that clinical notes, summaries, care plans, and meal plans are tailored to your specific field.

Select from our broad categories and specify your exact title:

• Functional & Integrative Medicine (e.g., Physician, Naturopathic Doctor, Naturopath)
• Nutrition & Health Coaching (e.g., Nutritional Therapist, Registered Dietitian, Health Coach)
• Primary & Allied Care (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, GP, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist)
• Administration & Operations (e.g., Practice Manager, Care Coordinator)

If your specialty isn't listed, select Other (specify) to enter a custom value. Your specialty helps the AI tailor clinical documentation to your specific field.

Professional Identifiers & Timezone

• NPI — Your 10-digit National Provider Identifier
• Taxonomy Code — Your NUCC Healthcare Provider Taxonomy Code (e.g., 133V00000X)
• Timezone — Meelio automatically detects and synchronizes your device's timezone to ensure all appointment and consultation timestamps are accurate.

Passkeys

You can register biometrics (like Apple Touch ID or Windows Hello) to log into Meelio without entering a password or waiting for email links. You can add multiple passkeys and assign them custom nicknames (e.g., "MacBook Touch ID", "Windows Hello Office PC").

Enrolling a New Passkey

1. Under the Passkeys section on the Account settings page, optionally enter a descriptive name in the nickname field.
2. Click Add a passkey.
3. Your operating system's default browser will open to complete the enrollment ceremony. Follow the prompts to register your device's fingerprint scanner, facial scanner, PIN, or hardware key.
4. Once completed, the passkey is linked and will be displayed in your list of passkeys with its registration date and last-used timestamp.

Deleting a Passkey

1. Locate the passkey you want to remove in the list.
2. Click the trash icon next to it.
3. Confirm your choice in the Remove passkey? prompt.

Note: If you remove all passkeys, Meelio's login screen will automatically revert to showing standard sign-in options as the default next time you open the app on this device.

Preferences

Enable Tabs

• Enable tabs — Toggle browser-style tabs at the top of the workspace. This option is enabled by default to keep multiple active consultations, patient records, or patient chat panels open simultaneously. You can easily switch between open tabs without losing your current state, input, or editing progress. Furthermore, any active AI chat responses or document generation streams continue to run and stay alive in the background while you switch between tabs, ensuring seamless multitasking. If you prefer a simpler, single-page interface, you can turn this toggle off to revert to a single-tab view.

Admin Group

If you are an administrator for your organization, you may see additional settings related to team management and organization-wide configurations.

Support & Diagnostics

• Export Debug Logs — Download diagnostic logs to share with support when troubleshooting issues

Privacy

• Share usage analytics — Toggle to help improve Meelio by sharing anonymous usage data. No patient information is ever collected.

Saving Changes

After making changes, click Save in the page header. The save button is only active when there are unsaved changes.
