Document Settings

Meelio allows you to customize the look and feel of your exported PDF clinical notes, care plans, and meal plans. Access these settings from Settings → Documents.

PDF Style

Choose the overall visual style for your exported documents.

• Refined — A modern, polished layout that mirrors the in-app rendering of artifacts.
• Classic — A traditional, clean document format.

Branding Mode

Control how your practice's identity appears alongside Meelio in exported files.

• Meelio — Only Meelio branding is shown.
• Practice only — Only your practice logo and name are shown.
• Practice + Powered by Meelio — Shows your practice branding with a subtle "Powered by Meelio" footer.

Header Style

Customize the layout of the top section of your documents.

• Classic — Standard header with logo and document title.
• Modern Minimal — A clean, space-efficient header.
• Accent Header Block — A bold header with a colored background block.

Practice Branding

If you've selected a branding mode that includes your practice, you can customize the following:

• Practice Logo — Upload a PNG or JPG file of your logo.
• Logo Position — Choose to place your logo on the Left or Right of the header.
• Show Organization Name — Toggle whether your practice name (from Practice Settings) appears in the header.
• Accent Color — Choose a color used for headings, horizontal lines, and other highlights in the PDF.

Footer

Customize the text that appears at the bottom of every page.

• Custom footer text — Enter text such as "Confidential Medical Document" or your practice's website.
• Leave blank to use the default footer based on your selected branding mode.

Live Preview

As you adjust settings, a live preview is available to show you exactly how your changes will look on a sample document.

• On larger screens, the preview appears on the right side of the page.
• On smaller screens, click the Preview button in the header to view the document.

Resetting Defaults

If you want to start over, click Reset to Defaults at the bottom of the page to restore all document settings to their original state.
